Independence instructors will help you adjust to your vision loss and discuss adaptive techniques for daily living. Attending an Adult Support Group is encouraged as a prerequisite to this class.

Our Independence Immersion Program enables you to regain control of your life so you can live the life you desire. You’ll work with specialized instructors to set achievable goals, learn techniques for organization, cooking, safe travel, and access to any technology. All skill levels are welcome. School Services
In person and virtual Vision Services meet the educational needs of students who are blind or have low vision throughout California. Partnering with school districts and parents for over 20 years, we specialize in an all-inclusive vision approach which includes Vision Services (TVIs), Orientation & Mobility, and Braille Transcription.
Youth Services
We go above and beyond academics by building student confidence, resourcefulness, and independence. Youth Services focuses on students’ successful integration into society and prepares students to live in a world designed for sighted individuals.

Peer Support Group, Cantonese Speakers

Gateway to Independence Support Group
This support group is geared for clients who are new to vision loss. Tea Time at Santa Cruz
Come enjoy tea and cookies with the company of others here at Vista Center Santa Cruz. You will make a new friend or further a known friendship with other people who have vision loss. You will also learn more about the available services at Vista Center, Santa Cruz.
Peer Mentor Group, Palo Alto
